2 Scope and definitions
2.1 A consumer is a natural person who buys outside the scope of their trade, business or profession. Any other buyer is a business customer. Provisions marked as applying to consumers do not apply to business customers.
2.2 A standard product is a product offered on the website in fixed dimensions and finishes and manufactured after your order to our standard specification.
2.3 A custom product is a product manufactured to your individual specification. This includes in particular products whose dimensions, configuration or finish you define, products configured in the online configurator (such as SHO and STEW), and products made on the basis of an individual quotation.
2.4 Nothing in these Terms limits the rights a consumer has under the mandatory law of the country of their habitual residence.
3 Products
3.1 Our products are made of stainless steel, natural stone, glass and other materials, to a large extent by hand. Hand-brushed and ground surfaces, the grain, colour, veining and pores of natural stone, and small differences in texture between individual pieces are inherent characteristics of the materials and processes. They are not defects.
3.2 Photographs and renderings on the website are illustrative. The appearance of colour and surface depends on light and on the screen used. Where exact appearance matters to you, request a material sample or visit the showroom before ordering.
3.3 Stainless steel develops a patina with use and natural stone may change in tone over time. Care instructions are supplied with each product and are available for download. Please follow them.
3.4 Dimensions are subject to the tolerances customary for the manufacturing process. Where the product documentation states a tolerance, that tolerance applies.
3.5 The load capacity stated for wall-mounted products applies only to installation with the fixings and into the substrate specified in the product documentation. Selecting fixings suitable for your wall and installing them correctly is the responsibility of the buyer or the buyer’s installer.
4 Order and conclusion of the contract
4.1 The presentation of products on the website is not a binding offer. By submitting an order with the obligation to pay, you make a binding offer to buy.
4.2 We confirm receipt of your order by an automatic e-mail. This acknowledgement is not an acceptance. The contract is concluded when we send you an order confirmation by e-mail.
4.3 For custom products, we send you a production specification before manufacture, stating dimensions, configuration and finish. The contract for a custom product is concluded when you approve this specification in writing, e-mail being sufficient, and we confirm the order. Please check the specification carefully. The product is manufactured exactly as approved.
4.4 We may decline an order, in particular where the product cannot be manufactured as specified, cannot be delivered to the requested destination, or where the price or product information contained an obvious error. Any payment already made is refunded without delay.
4.5 The contract is concluded in Slovak or English. We archive the concluded contract; you receive the order confirmation and these Terms by e-mail.
5 Prices and payment
5.1 Prices are stated in euro and include VAT. VAT is charged in accordance with the EU VAT rules applicable to the delivery.
5.2 Delivery costs are not included in the product price. They are shown before you complete the order, or quoted individually and confirmed before payment.
5.3 For deliveries outside the European Union, prices do not include import duties, import VAT, customs clearance fees or other charges in the country of destination. These are payable by the buyer as importer (clause 7.6).
5.4 Payment is made in advance, by card or another method offered at checkout and processed by Stripe, or by bank transfer against our invoice.
5.5 Production begins only after the full price has been credited to our account. The delivery time runs from that date or, for custom products, from approval of the production specification, whichever is later.
5.6 Ownership of the goods passes to the buyer on full payment of the price.
6 Production and delivery time
6.1 The delivery time is stated on the product page. For custom products and larger orders the delivery time is stated in the order confirmation.
6.2 If we cannot deliver within the confirmed time, we will inform you without delay and propose a new date. A consumer who does not accept the new date may set an additional reasonable period for delivery. If we fail to deliver within that period, the consumer may withdraw from the contract and we refund all payments without delay.
6.3 We are not responsible for delays caused by events under clause 13. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
7 Shipping and delivery
7.1 We ship with FedEx and with other carriers we select according to the dimensions and weight of the shipment and its destination.
7.2 Delivery is made to the kerbside or ground-floor entrance of the delivery address unless agreed otherwise. Carrying the goods into the premises, assembly and installation are not included.
7.3 The buyer is responsible for providing a correct delivery address and for ensuring that the shipment can be received. Where delivery fails for reasons on the buyer’s side, in particular an incorrect address, repeated absence or refusal to accept, the costs of repeated delivery, return shipment and storage are borne by the buyer. The delivery address cannot be changed after dispatch.
7.4 On receipt, check the packaging for visible damage. Record any damage on the carrier’s delivery document or refuse a visibly damaged shipment, and send photographs of the packaging and the product to [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery. This enables us to claim against the carrier. For consumers this does not limit statutory rights in respect of defects.
7.5 Risk of loss and damage passes to a consumer when the consumer, or a person designated by the consumer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods. Risk passes to a business customer on handover of the goods to the first carrier.
7.6 Deliveries outside the European Union are made DAP (Incoterms 2020). The buyer is the importer, pays all duties, taxes and fees in the country of destination and is responsible for compliance with its import regulations. If the buyer does not pay these charges and the shipment is returned to us, we refund the price paid less the costs of outbound shipping, return shipping and any charges incurred.
8 Right of withdrawal for consumers
8.1 A consumer may withdraw from a contract for a standard product within 14 days without giving any reason. The period begins on the day on which the consumer, or a person designated by the consumer other than the carrier, takes possession of the goods; where goods ordered together are delivered separately, on the day the last item is received. The consumer may also withdraw before delivery.
8.2 To withdraw, send us a clear statement of your decision by e-mail to [email protected] or by post before the period expires. You may use the model withdrawal form included in Returns & Exchanges, but you are not obliged to. We confirm receipt of your withdrawal without delay.
8.3 There is no right of withdrawal for custom products, being goods manufactured to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, pursuant to § 19(1)(c) of Slovak Act No. 108/2024 Coll. and Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU.
8.4 On withdrawal we refund all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your notice of withdrawal. Additional costs arising from a more expensive delivery method you chose are not refunded. We use the same means of payment you used unless agreed otherwise. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them, whichever is earlier.
8.5 Send the goods back to us, or hand them over to a carrier we have agreed with you, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you notified us of your withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Because of their dimensions and weight, most of our products cannot normally be returned by post, and the cost of return may be high. We estimate it at up to the delivery cost stated for your order before you placed it. On request we arrange the collection at your cost.
8.6 Pack the goods so that they are protected during transport; we recommend the original packaging. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, and for damage caused by inadequate packaging. Installation, drilling, anchoring to a wall and use of the product go beyond such handling. We may deduct the diminished value from the refund.
8.7 Business customers have no right of withdrawal. An order confirmed to a business customer is binding.
9 Custom products
9.1 A custom product is manufactured according to the approved production specification. The buyer is responsible for the correctness of all dimensions and information supplied, including dimensions of the site, the condition and composition of walls and the suitability of the space. Where we take measurements on site under a separate agreement, we are responsible for those measurements.
9.2 A custom product that corresponds to the approved specification is in conformity with the contract, even where it does not suit the intended space for reasons arising from information supplied by the buyer.
9.3 Changes after approval are possible only by agreement and before production begins. They may affect the price and delivery time.
9.4 After approval of the specification, a custom order cannot be cancelled unilaterally. If we agree to cancel at your request, we may retain the costs already incurred, in particular material ordered and work carried out, up to the price of the order.
10 Liability for defects
10.1 We are liable for defects which the goods have at the time of delivery. For consumers we are liable for defects which become apparent within 24 months of delivery. A defect which becomes apparent within this period is presumed to have existed at delivery, unless the contrary is proven or the presumption is incompatible with the nature of the goods or of the defect.
10.2 The consumer may choose repair or replacement, unless the chosen remedy is impossible or would cause disproportionate costs. Where these remedies fail or are not available, the consumer is entitled to a reasonable price reduction or to withdraw from the contract in accordance with the law. Where a defect is first remedied by repair, the liability period is extended by 12 months.
10.3 To make a claim, send us your order number, a description of the defect and photographs to [email protected]. Where necessary, make the product available for inspection. For justified claims we arrange and pay for transport. We resolve claims within 30 days of receipt, unless a longer period is justified by objective reasons which we communicate to you.
10.4 The following are not defects: the characteristics described in clauses 3.1 and 3.3; normal wear; marks and scratches arising from use; damage caused by incorrect installation, overloading, unsuitable fixings or substrate, cleaning agents containing chlorine, chlorides, acids or abrasives, failure to follow the care instructions, accident or modification of the product.
10.5 For business customers the liability period is 12 months from delivery. Visible defects must be notified within five working days of delivery and hidden defects without undue delay after discovery. The remedy is repair, replacement or price reduction at our choice.
10.6 We do not provide a commercial guarantee beyond statutory liability unless stated in writing for a specific product.
11 Limitation of liability
11.1 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury, for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, or for rights which cannot be limited under mandatory consumer protection law.
11.2 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from installation which does not follow the product documentation or from fixings or a substrate unsuitable for the product.
11.3 Towards business customers our total liability is limited to the price of the product concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or loss of profit.
12 Intellectual property and technical files
12.1 Our designs, product names, texts, photographs, drawings, 3D models and DWG files are protected and owned by or licensed to inox systeme s. r. o. The purchase of a product does not transfer any intellectual property rights.
12.2 Technical files provided for download are licensed solely for planning, specifying and visualising projects using genuine inox système products, and may be incorporated into project documentation for that purpose. They may not be used to manufacture, have manufactured or offer products reproducing our designs, and may not be redistributed as files or modified for such purposes.
13 Force majeure
13.1 Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, in particular natural disasters, war, epidemics, measures of public authorities, strikes, failures of energy or communication networks, and disruption of supply of materials or of transport. The affected party informs the other without delay.
13.2 If such an event lasts more than 60 days, either party may withdraw from the unfulfilled part of the contract. Payments for goods not delivered are refunded.
14 Complaints and disputes
14.1 Please contact us first at [email protected]. We aim to resolve every complaint amicably.
14.2 A consumer who is not satisfied with the way we handled a complaint, or who believes we have infringed their rights, may request redress from us. If we reject the request or do not reply within 30 days, the consumer may submit the dispute to an alternative dispute resolution body. In Slovakia this is the Slovak Trade Inspection, Prievozská 32, P. O. Box 29, 827 99 Bratislava, [email protected], www.soi.sk. Consumers in other EU member states find the competent bodies at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.
14.3 These Terms and contracts concluded under them are governed by Slovak law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. A consumer retains the protection of the mandatory law of the country of their habitual residence and may bring proceedings in the courts provided for by law. Disputes with business customers are subject to the jurisdiction of the Slovak courts competent for our registered office.
15 Final provisions
15.1 The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

15.3 If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
15.4 Version 1.0, effective from 1 October 2026.
